There are a number of documents relating to the Bennett and the Clare family provided below. The Bennet family came from Neston in the Wirral and my great grandfather William Roughley Clare married Amelia Bennet. They met when he was training in Neston with the Terratorial Army and when they were married they all moved to Toxteth in Liverpool. Amelia died in 1922 and my great great aunty, who we all knew as Aunty Bet looked after her 4 childeren. Aunty Bet passed away in 1990 and we miss her greatly.
